At Dora Galani, creation is a bridge between timeless Greek heritage and modern aesthetics. We believe a piece of jewelry is never just an accessory — it is a storyteller, a small daily luxury connecting the past with the present of the woman who wears it.

From the Other Side of the Counter

My path to jewelry didn't start at a workbench — it started with a degree in Business Administration in Athens. What followed was a career spent entirely in jewelry and watches, though rarely from behind a desk. Working in supervisory roles gave me a front-row seat to something I never forgot: the exact moment someone receives a piece of jewelry, and what that moment does to them. Later, as head of after-sales service for the Greek representative of a Swiss watch brand, I learned the other half of that story — how a piece is cared for, repaired, and made to last a lifetime.

That combination — watching joy at the counter, and craftsmanship behind the scenes — is what eventually pulled me toward becoming a jewelry professional myself. I went on to study jewelry design and manufacturing, and design has remained the part of the process that is entirely my own ever since. Most pieces are brought to life by the artisan I've worked with since the very beginning, in his workshop in the heart of Athens. But I keep my own bench too — our Enamel Rings and silver wired cuff bracelets are pieces I still make with my own hands.

 

Our work spans 18K, 14K, and 9K gold alongside 925 sterling silver, each metal chosen for how it suits a piece — from everyday layering chains to once-in-a-lifetime gifts.

The beating heart of our brand resides in the Minoan Collection — my first full collection, and to date the only one, because design is a part of this brand I've never wanted to hand off. Crafted exclusively in 18K solid gold, it draws on the fluid, organic forms and powerful femininity of Minoan civilization.

Here, every custom pre-order, every meticulous knot, and every styling consultation is treated as a personal relationship of trust.
