RETURN & REFUND POLICY

1. Returns
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it — unworn or unused, with all original tags and packaging intact. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll provide you with return instructions and, if applicable, a shipping label. Items sent back to us without prior return authorization will not be accepted.

2. Damaged or Incorrect Items
Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us immediately if your item is defective, damaged, or incorrect so that we can evaluate the issue and resolve it promptly.
3. Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items
Due to the nature of our products, certain items cannot be returned, including:
- Custom or made-to-order jewellery (such as engraved or personalized pieces)
- Fine jewellery made to order in gold
- Earrings, for hygiene reasons, unless they arrive defective
- Sale or promotional items
- Gift cards
Please contact us if you have questions about a specific piece before returning it.
4. Exchanges
If you wish to exchange an item, the fastest method is to return the original item once accepted, and then place a new order for the replacement.
5. EU 14-Day Cooling-Off Period
If your order is being shipped to an address within the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days for any reason and without justification.
As above, the item must be unused, in its original condition and packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase.
6. Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please note that your bank or credit card provider may require additional processing time.
If more than 15 business days have passed since your return was approved and you have not received your refund, please contact us at info@doragalani.com.
7. Legal Right of Withdrawal (EU Law)
Under Law 2251/1994 as amended by Law 4512/2018, consumers in the EU are entitled to withdraw from a distance sale within 14 calendar days of delivery, without providing a reason.
To exercise this right, you may send a clear statement of withdrawal (by email to info@doragalani.com or by mail to the above address) including your name, address, and order number.
Returned items must be in unused, original condition, with all packaging, documentation, and accessories intact.
The right of withdrawal does not apply to:
- Products made to order or customized at your request
- Used or worn products
- Products unsealed for health or hygiene reasons (such as earrings)
Refunds under the right of withdrawal will be issued within 14 calendar days from the date we receive notice of withdrawal, provided the item has been received back or proof of shipment has been supplied.
Delivery costs are refunded only if you selected our standard delivery option.
8. Product Defects
If a product has a manufacturing defect or does not match the agreed characteristics, you are entitled to request repair, replacement, price reduction, or withdrawal from the contract, as provided under Articles 540 et seq. of the Greek Civil Code.
In case of any defect, please contact us immediately at info@doragalani.com or call +30 210 8022576 within 1–2 business days of receiving your item.
9. Applicable Law & Jurisdiction
All purchases and transactions through www.doragalani.com are governed by Greek and European law, particularly those regulating e-commerce, distance selling, and consumer protection.
Any dispute arising from these transactions shall fall under the jurisdiction of the Courts of Athens, Greece.
10. Out-of-Court Dispute Resolution
Consumers may contact the General Secretariat for Consumer Affairs or the Consumer Ombudsman (www.synigoroskatanaloti.gr) for out-of-court dispute resolution.

Notes on Jewellery Returns
We take great care in crafting and packaging every piece. Due to the delicate and handmade nature of our jewellery, please ensure items are returned securely and in original packaging to avoid damage during transit.
